Here we are in the middle of October and for some reason it's sunny and 70?! Just had to take the opportunity to burn some gas and tear through as many milliamps as possible! Capt Tom, Train Man Dan and a few new faces rounded out the group at the NCC. "A quick trip" turned into a 4 hour power session but man was it worth it!!!
From top to bottom you're looking at the Valley View Yak55SP, Slipstream MX-2, and the 3DHS 48" Edge 540 (aka the $1.50) I can't say enough about any of these babies other than how frikkin sweet they are and how I hope to keep them around for a while!
I've seen helis come and go at the NCC but this baby was the most impressive I've seen yet! At a glance it's a T-Rex 700 (as big as they come) on 12 cells artfully wrapped in a scale body. Tons of touches including flybarless head and hand painted details everywhere! Just the sound of this baby running is so impressive that at one point it started spooling up while I was laying down a session and literally stopped watching my bird to check out the excitement...
