You guys missed a frosty but exciting day at the NCC.  It's hard to believe it's two weeks before Christmas and all the hardcores are still finding their way out to fly in mid 30's weather!  Between Wes, Capt. Tom and myself we had 4 big gassers (3 way hover at one point), Peri's 500 size scale Bell 222 heli with retracts, and even good ol John in a lawn chair guy with his multiplex glider!

Quick pose of a few of the big birds.  A few hundred flights later the Valley View Yak 55SP is still performing amazingly well.  The Red Aero/EG Models MXS-R still is the fastest of the group while the Valley View Slick 540 draws flawless lines in the sky!
